Subject: Agenda for APNG Developing Countries WG Meeting in Beijng, 1994.11.28

1. Review of items discussed at the last meeting in Prague :

(a) Narayan will form a mailing list for providing technical

assistance.

(b) Suchit Nanda will prepare a document "Low-cost Networking

Solutions".

(d) Narayan will create a centralized information server for supporting

developing countries at his site.

(e) Narayan will create a database of equipments available for

donnation. Inputs from members of this group strongly solicited.

2. Present Status :

(a) The 'experts@apnic.net ' mailing list has been created and

a few help requests have been answered. Hopefully, more

people will 'shoot' questions to this list.

(b) & (c) Both reports are awaited ( hopefully we should get

these in time for the next meeting ).

(d) Hope to make an announcement regarding this early next

month.

(e) No progress yet. If there is not much interest, we may drop

this altogether !!

3. Future Plans and work items :

I would like to take this opportunity to solicit ideas

and suggestions on the kinds of activities that this group

should concentrate on. Any and all suggestions are welcome.
